Nagasaki Embroidery Sewing Workshop

Service Description

Nagasaki Embroidery is a traditional and locally developed technique which has been handed down since Edo Period. For now, Only a single craftsman can achieve it. This program will serve to enlighten people about the great work of art. Participants will be kindly taught how to sew the embroidery. The motif is “petals of a cherry blossom”. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gather→Roll Call→Move→Be seated Sewing Workshop・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・Sew a cherry blossom with basic techniques End→Dismiss at the point -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1320JPY (incl. tax) per person Applicable from one person ※Please consult with us if you have kids aged less than 10. ◎ Cost included・・・・・ consumption tax ◎ Cost excluded ・・・・・ round trip transportation to and from the venue, admission, and English guide ◎Venue:the lobby on the 2nd floor Nagasaki Museum of History and Culture (1-1-1 Tateyama Nagasaki City) ◎Making Reservation available every Friday -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take the tram and walk ◆3-minute walk from JR Nagasaki station. ◆Take Tram No.2 bound for Hotarujaya at Nagasaki Ekimae Tram Station, then get off at Sakuramachi Tram Station, and a 7-minute walk from the station Take a taxi ◆Taxi Rank at JR Nagasaki Station  It takes about 5 minutes. It costs about 600JPY.  ※It depends on road conditions.
